“Sal” is a strong believer in education (he demanded that we award prizes related to education). After completing his undergrad studies at the University of Michigan (where he met his wife, Go Blue!), he studied International Politics at the University of London, and later returned to his hometown to receive his MBA at the University of Chicago. He is currently working on a Doctorate in Entrepreneurship at night.
His professional career has taken him all over the world, where he has worked with various Internet startups including Tunes.com (RollingStone.com), Machineweb.com, and Hybridcars.com. Before becoming the founder of Family Fantasy Sports, David was the Chief Operating Officer at Creative Class Strategies, an economics and growth adviser, in Washington, DC.

“Taz” graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his graduate degree in education from DePaul University.
He spent several years as a commodities trader and insurance broker
before starting a web design firm in Chicago. David later became a
high school history teacher in Chicago at Walter Payton College Prep, the place where he first developed a passion for helping children achieve
their goals.
Prior to becoming the founder of Family Fantasy Sports, Taz spent 7 years as director of Camp Kawaga in
northern Wisconsin, a sports camp for kids ages 8-16.
Stephanie Hofman
Director of Marketing
Stephanie is a mom, a wife, and is actively involved with the local PTA and several charities, including Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She loves pilates, romantic comedies, and spending time with her son and daughter and 2 Alaskan Malamutes.
Stephanie received her BA from Brandeis University and earned her Masters in Integrated Marketing and Communications from Northwestern University.
She worked for Foote Cohn & Belding ad agency and also spent several years in pharmaceutical sales prior to her involvement with Family Fantasy Sports. Stephanie is a life-long Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears fan, and the Punky QB Jim McMahon is her all-time favorite player. It is also important to know that her husband was an all-conference high school basketball player and he blew out his ACL just after his 40th birthday.
