The '08 NFL Season began with the Superbowl Champ NY Giants defeating division rival Washington 17-6. Plaxico Burress (133 yards) and Brandon Jacobs (116 yards) had big games. Eli scored a rushing TD (something he has only done 3 times in his career) and threw for 216 yards. For those who have some of the G-Men on their squads -- congrats on the nice opening nite. I think most of these guys are gonna have good years for you and Plaxico is real happy with his new contract so he might have a special year. I don't know what to say about the Skins. I am sure the team Joe Gibbs, in Open League 35 is not too happy with what happened in the game. Clinton Portis had something like 84 yards; not bad, but not inspiring. Our public leagues are still open for sign-ups and will be until the 4th week of the season -- tell your friends and families its not too late to join the fun. (You can own as many free teams at FamilyFantasySports.com, though only your first 3 are eligible for the prizes -- including the $25,000 Grand Prize.) Thanks for playing, have a great season! Email us if you have any questions.
