About The National Multiple Sclerosis Society Ohio Valley Chapter

The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, founded in 1952, serves over 6,000 families in 24 Ohio counties and the three Northern Kentucky counties of Boone, Kenton and Campbell. We are committed to finding the cause and cure, while ensuring that people living with MS across our chapter territory have the information and quality care they need to live healthy, productive and independent lives.  MS interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and stops people from moving.  The National Multiple Sclerosis Society exists to make sure that it doesn’t.

The Society provides a variety of programs and services that span a spectrum of client needs. The Ohio Valley Chapter offers educational, professional education, physical health, family support and social recreational programs, along with a variety of other direct client services, such as emergency financial assistance, counseling, occupational therapy home evaluations, durable medical equipment and advocacy on local, state and federal issues important to people with MS.

The Ohio Valley Chapter has earned a four-star, “exceptional” rating from Charity Navigator, America’s premier charity evaluator, for our ability to efficiently manage and grow our finances
