BV Wildcats Are Fantasy Football Team of the Week (15)

Monstrously huge performance by BV Wildcats (Open League 128) to take home Team of the Week Honors during Week 15 of the 2009 NFL Fantasy Season. BV Wildcats beat Aimees Uninsurables by nearly 5 points with Aaron Rodgers’ (QB-GB) 43.52 points setting the golden standard.

Maurice Jones-Drew (RB-JAC), Jamaal Charles (RB-KC), Chad Ochocinco (WR/TE-CIN) and Dallas Clark (WR/TE-DAL) had great performances and helped BV Wildcats take home first place of all of the teams competing at Family Fantasy Sports. More amazing perhaps is that Ben Roethlisberger (QB-PIT) scored 38.82 points and sat on BV Wildcats’ bench. Other teams in the Top 25 for Week 15 include, Ella Bella (Shoom Kirsch League), A Gold (WKFFL), In Your Face (Dad & Child 80), and Water Buffalo (MuncieBadger League)

Shaq Takes on Best of Best in New TV Show

Perhaps no professional athlete goes after as many challenges as Shaquille O’Neal. The newest teammate of LeBron James is

beginning to film a new tv show called Shaq Vs. In the new show, Shaq will take on some of the world’s best athletes in their sports. Apparently filming begins this week as Shaq goes to Pittsburgh to play football vs. Big Ben Roethlisberger. From the USA Today article about the show:

Filming begins Wednesday in Pittsburgh, where Shaq takes on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in football. Future hour-long episodes will pit him against Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya, St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols, tennis pro Serena Williams and beach volleyball Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh.

O’Neal, 37, says he also hopes to book pal Lance Armstrong for a cycling competition once the Tour de France ends.

The series is set to premiere Aug. 18 and will air Tuesdays at 9 ET/PT.
